The horses gone to winter field
In the autumn the pack of horses at Kílhraun is put together at the winter field. The foals learn how to behave from the adults, the youngsters get to know the picking order and each and everyone finds it’s place in the heard.
When all of the riding horses, mares with foals, youngsters and the old ones had been gathered together at the fence they where inspected thoroughly. The hooves where cut and everybody got their preparation for the winter. The geldings regarded the mares with the foals and communicated with new ones.
As you can see on the video, the horses know what is going on and runs with no difficulties to the winter field.
