Kílhraun is competing at Uppsveitadeild
The team Kílhraun is ready to compete at Uppsveitadeild. The team has been training under Manni´s control. Ásdís and Lilja have also helped at the training with their sharp eye.
Uppsveitadeild is a competition held at Flúðir in South Iceland every winter. It is a three evening competition with about four weeks interval. It starts at four gait, the second event is five gait and at the final evening there is a competition in tölt and flying pace.
Friday night February 20. the competition starts with four gait. The team Kílhraun consist of Guðmann Unnsteinsson, captain, Ragnhildur S. Eyþórsdóttir and Björgvin Ólafsson. Ragnhildur starts on the mare Förðun frá Hólavatni. Next in the row is the experienced Guðmann on the horse Verðandi frá Síðu. The last one is Björgvin on the mare Gjöf frá Hrepphólum.
The competition Uppsveitadeild will be exciting this winter. It will be interesting to watch the 24 riders show their skills at Friday night.
